On a Macintosh, the snap-to-grid function is called Clean Up. But no, Microsoft insists on using some stupid snap to grid type thing to make the text box jump about a centimeter, instead of the odd millimeter. It sounds like it would be something people would really like to do doesn't it, moving a text box just a little bit. Does anyone know how to turn off snap to grid in Microsoft Word for Mac 2004? I am trying to move text boxes and they just keep jumping around and will not line up the way I want them to because of some stupid snap to grid type thing.
